Product Care Instructions 


 • Use microfiber cloth for cleaning and regularly wipe down furniture to avoid clumping of dust and debris. 

• Dampen cloth to clean stubborn dust. 

• Clean spills quickly with a dry cloth. 

• Do Dust and Vacuum Leather Furniture. 

• Soak up the stain with a white cloth by blotting {Don’t Rub}. 

• Spot clean with {Distilled} water and a white cloth. 

• Use a mild soap with the water. 

• Use upholstery cleaning products with stiff upholstery brush. 

• Dry clean or machine wash on cold and hang to dry the couch covers. 

• Treat your wood furniture with a silicone-free cleaner or polish. 


• Don’t keep your furniture in direct sunlight, excessive moisture or extreme temperatures 

• Don’t scrap the products with any sharp edge objects. 

• Don’t put hot objects or cold drinks directly on top of your furniture. 

• Don’t use Pledge on wood furniture. 

• Don’t push the furniture against the wall. 

• Don’t use harsh brushes. 

• While cleaning spills don’t spread it by wiping; instead use a dry sponge or cloth to soak the liquid. 

• Don’t use any sort of glue or adhesive thinner or any other chemical component for cleaning. 

• Don’t let water soak into the leather. 

• Don’t ignore product care instructions.


 LAKDI warrants to you, the original buyer, that goods shall be free of defects in material and/or workmanship attributable to manufacture for a period specified in the detail below from date of buyer’s receipt of product. Damage resulting from improper handling after merchandise is received or from exposure to weather or extreme atmospheric conditions is not covered by the LAKDI warranty. Warranty is subject to normal use under normal conditions. THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE GOODS CONSTITUTES LAKDI’S ENTIRE OBLIGATION. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 

LAKDI shall in no event be liable for incidental or consequential damages. If any model or sample is shown to buyer, such model or sample is used merely to illustrate the general type and quality of goods, and not to represent that goods supplied to buyer will necessarily conform in all respects to the sample or model. All claims for seller’s failure to comply with this warranty shall be governed by the provisions of this paragraph.

    Our prices are inclusive of installation charges and you don’t have to pay anything extra, however some furniture items come pre-assembled and do not require any installation. For the unassembled furniture, our installation partner will serve at your door steps.

    • Will the furniture fit?

    All widths and diagonal depths should be less than the entryway dimensions. Check the diagonal depth on upholstery by placing a straight tape measure from the back of the frame to the front of the arm. If it was easy to get your existing furniture in, compare the measurements with the model you want to replace it with. When ordering a wall display unit, measure the wall you wish to place it against from floor to ceiling. The diagonal height should be less than the entryway. Measure the width and height of all doorways, hallways, and stairways, including banisters and turns, and don’t forget about obstacles such as wall and ceiling lights.

    • How to measure furniture?

    You need to know exactly where you want the furniture to be, and whether it will fit. Start by taking the following measurements: Measure the surface area of the space where you want to put the furniture. Make a rough sketch with a note of the dimensions. Measure the width, height, and depth of the model you want to order.

    • How should my furniture be placed?

    When furnishing any room, consider the largest piece first: the sofa in the living room, the dining table in the dining area, the bed in the bedroom. Your furniture should be arranged in a way pleasing to the eye, comfortable to use and convenient to move around. Before placing an order, please take a close look at all the access areas in your home, from the first entry doorway through to your selected room.

    • Do you ship to my city and location?

    For a superlative customer experience, we have decided to deliver each furniture product personally. We would request you to check the delivery service points with your correct pin-code.

    • What is the estimated delivery time?

    Products are typically dispatched within 48 hours of order confirmation. All the products are transported and delivered using the Lakdi delivery network for all its furniture range. While we try to ensure that the product reaches you within the delivery time communicated, exigencies may delay the delivery. In such cases, please do not worry. Get in touch with us for the latest update on your shipment if we have already not gotten in touch with you.

    • Are there any shipping charges or any additional hidden charges?

    No, shipments are free of charge. Any additional charges like Octroi, entry taxes are paid by Company. When you enter a pin-code in the address field while ordering a product, the system will indicate whether we ship to your pin-code or not.

    • How do I track my order?

    We try our best to deliver your product before you can even think 'Where is it now?' :) i.e. well within 10 days of your order (or 10 days of the promised shipment date in the case of pre-orders). In a few cases however, we take closer to our promised 12 - 15 days for delivery. We have described the details for tracking of the orders at our page:

    • What kinds of payment do you accept?

    We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Unfortunately, we cannot accept COD orders and all orders must be paid in full once submitted online.

    • When is my credit card charged?

    Your card will be charged once the order is confirmed. You will receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours of your order being placed.

    • What happens if there is a pricing error?

    We do our best to provide accuracy in the pricing and other product information displayed on our website, but mistakes sometimes happen. In such cases, Lakdi-The Furniture Co. expressly reserves the right not to honor pricing errors found on this website when accepting an online order. If an error occurs, we'll let you know and cancel the order. Any authorized payments for that order will be immediately refunded. If you find an error once your order is delivered, please contact our Customer Care team or refer to our return policy.





    • When are the returns permissible and under what conditions?

     All furniture should be opened and checked for any defect/damage. Any such issue should be notified on the delivery challan and AWB/consignment copy. Any claim of transit damage will not be considered if not notified at the time of delivery itself.  

    • Can I return a product found to be defective upon use after some time?

    If the product is within the warranty period, please get in touch with our Customer Care representative with the Order ID & Invoice No. and images of the defective product. We will make all endeavours to repair or replace the product as per the warranty terms specified on this website.

    • How and when will I receive the refund?

    We will process your refund within seven (7) business days of receiving the returned product in its original packaging. All refunds will be issued through the same transaction mode (e.g. credit card or net banking) used in the original purchase.
