1. Introduction: -

Welcome to Lakdi.com. We are committed to delivering high-quality interior design services. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide warranty coverage for our interior design projects.

2. Warranty Coverage: -

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for the following elements of the interior design project:

Furniture (e.g., sofas, chairs, tables)
Built-in cabinetry, kitchen, and wardrobe
Lighting fixtures
Wall coverings (e.g., paint, wallpaper)
Flooring (e.g., tiles, hardwood, carpet)
Window treatments (e.g., blinds, curtains)
False ceiling (e.g., pop, gypsum, PVC)
Toilet
Landscaping
Electrical Equipment

3. Warranty Period: -

The warranty period commences on the date of project completion and lasts as per the following work done: -

Furniture: up to 10 years
Built-in cabinetry, kitchen, and wardrobe: up to 2-5 years
Lighting fixtures: up to 1 year
Wall coverings: up to 2 years
Flooring: up to 2 years
Window treatments: up to 5 years
False ceiling: up to 3 years
Toilet: up to 5 years
Landscaping: up to 1 year
Electrical Equipment: as per the manufacturer’s warranty

4. What is covered?

This warranty covers the following: -
• Structural integrity of furniture and built-in units.
• Premature wear and tear of fabrics and materials under normal use.
• Defects in the installation of flooring and wall coverings.
• Electrical defects in lighting fixtures installed by us.
• Defects in false ceiling at the time of installation.

5. What is Not Covered?

This warranty does not cover: -
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
• Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or repairs.
• Normal wear and tear beyond the warranty period.
• Damage caused by external factors such as fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
• Minor imperfections that do not significantly affect the function or aesthetics of the item.
• Defects in lighting elements due to power fluctuation or short-circuit.
• Seepage due to water flow or the use of acids.

6. Claim Process: -

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

• Contact our customer service department at [+91-8130301290] within the warranty period.
• Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.
• Allow our team to inspect the defect, either through photos or an in-person visit.

7. Remedies: -

If a defect is confirmed, we will, at our discretion:

• Repair the defective item.
• Replace the defective item with an identical or comparable item.
• Provide a refund for the defective item.

8. Limitations of Liability: -

Our liability is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective item, as applicable. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products and services.

9. Governing Law: -

This warranty policy is governed by the laws of the Government.

10. Amendments: -

We reserve the right to amend this warranty policy at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to customers and will apply to projects completed after the amendment date.

Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe: -

Up to 10-years of warranty on modular and semi-modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage, hardware, and accessories.

Product Terms: - Kitchen, Cabinets, shutters, drawers, and panels.

1. LAKDI will honor its warranty when
a. The product supplied and installed is properly maintained and used for normal domestic use.
b. The product is still owned by the original purchaser.
c. The product is still at its original installed position and location.
d. The warranty has not expired, subject to limitations outlined in LAKDI terms & conditions.

2. LAKDI warranty does not include: -

a. Any labour, installation or transportation costs or any responsibility for damage that LAKDI considers as natural wear and tear of finishes and surfaces.

b. Any products used or installed in conjunction with LAKDI kitchen/ wardrobe/ modular storage, such as electrical & plumbing fixtures, countertops, and appliances. Any use of LAKDI cabinetry or parts that are contrary to instructions furnished by LAKDI will void this warranty.

c. Any cabinetry or parts that LAKDI considers to have been subject to alteration, modification, accident, abnormal use, extreme temperatures, and continuous contact with water, high moisture levels, or use of harsh and/or abrasive cleaning chemicals.

d. Normal incidental deterioration like nicks, cuts, scratches and abrasions which result from normal use during the standard life of the product.

3. LAKDI will not be held responsible for any claims arising out of defects due to material or workmanship of products not listed under the claim terms.

4. LAKDI warranty does not cover natural wear and tear or damage caused by rough handling or using the product beyond its intended use.

5. LAKDI reserves the right to alter specifications in keeping with its policy of continuous product evaluation and improvement.

6. The scope of the LAKDI warranty cannot be changed or broadened by any authorized representative of LAKDI.

7. Repair(s) and/or replacement(s) are subject to the current product offerings of styles and construction options within the LAKDI product line, at the time of the claim. If a claim is filed after a LAKDI product becomes obsolete or discontinued, LAKDI will replace the affected component with a replacement component of a similar style based on availability at the time of the claim.

8. Notify LAKDI ON +91-8130301290 or email support@lakdi.com within 07 days of any defect that comes to notice, such as visual damage or a malfunctioning component. Notification post the stipulated time will void the LAKDI warranty.

9. Any decision regarding the repair of the said component (in part or whole) solely lies with the authorized LAKDI representative. The decision will be made following an inspection by the representative, whether to repair at the site, or return the product to the factory for refurbishing/ replacement.

10. Liability: - LAKDI will make all efforts to replace/ repair the said defect within a reasonable period of time. LAKDI will not be liable for any direct/indirect loss to the user due to the defect or delay in providing the service, or any fault arising due to design, application or installation. In no event shall the liability of LAKDI, under this warranty, exceed the purchase price of the product or its replacement.

11. The warranty is not renewed in cases where the LAKDI modular cabinets or components are replaced in part or whole during the said warranty period. The replaced parts will continue to be covered under our warranty only till the remainder of the period as indicated in its respective table.
