Material 1st (MDF with Laminate/Polish): This desk uses strong MDF board for the top and both side pedestals. It has a smooth Laminate or Polish finish with PVC edge banding. This gives the desk a rich walnut surface. It resists scratches and stains. It also stays strong through daily use.
Material 2nd (PLY/Solid with Veneer and Polish): The floating support panel and internal pedestal framing use strong plywood and solid wood. They have a natural veneer layer with multiple coats of PU polish. This adds long-term strength and helps the desk hold its shape well under daily use.
